We all know that there are many ways to save time when it comes to art. But what are some of the most effective? Well, in this article, I will be sharing seven secrets that I always do when making my art, including what you should wear, use shortcuts with, and more!

The first thing that I always do when making my art is…

1. Wear the right clothes

Don’t wear anything too long if you are using scissors, as it can get caught on them and possibly cut you. I usually use some paints, so it is best not to wear anything white or if you do, make sure it is all covered. Wear jeans, sweatshirts, and other clothing that you don’t mind getting messy!

The next thing I always do is…

2. Use shortcuts

Did you know that there are many ways to save time using shortcuts? For example, if you want to paint your character’s hair black but have already mixed all of the colors that you have used for it, use black paint that is already mixed! Do the same with eyes. If the pupils are white, draw them over with a pencil until you fill in enough to be painted all at once.

3. Make sure to take breaks

Yes, making art can sometimes take FOREVER if you don’t give yourself a break between sessions. Take short breaks just to let your mind relax and clear so you can focus when you start again. It’s also good to get up and walk around for a bit!

4. Always have fun!

I know this sounds like a no-brainer, but it is essential that any time spent making art, take it seriously and have fun! This lighthearted approach keeps your mind open and not all worked up like you’re taking an important exam.

5. Make friends with other artists

Making friends is a great tip that I always do to save time on art-making! Making new friends can be hard sometimes, but if you find someone who is also into art, you can help each other out! Swap video games or your comic books, or hang out. It’s great to have someone around who will also encourage you to keep on drawing!

6. Be patient

This is one of the best tips for saving time when it comes to making art! Sometimes you might be working on something and think that it’s all wrong, so you throw it away. But if you wait a little bit before deciding what to do, then you might find that your idea later on can work out better!

7. Don’t give up!

The last tip of the day is not giving up. Sometimes making art may seem hard, but don’t ever stop! Sure, it might take longer, but the end result will be fantastic if you keep working on it! I know this because I have had times where my art wasn’t working out, and then later on it did. Keep your chin up and try to do your best whenever you can!

Now that you know seven secrets of saving time when you make art, why not try them out? If you do, I guarantee that your art will be much better than it used to be! Thank you for reading this article, and I hope that you enjoyed it.
